The aim of the mission was to support social development of Nepal. Delegation met with the Speaker of the Parliament, Krishna Bahadur , Ministry of Federal issues, Babu Pandit, and the Prime Minister, Khadga Prasad Sharma.
President Kwasniewski highlighted the key role of civil society to protect rule of law and good governance: “we cannot build democracy without humans right, women’s rights, i.e. an inclusive society and civil society must be ready to fight for these rights.” – he said.
