Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council Meeting in Warsaw

On 16th of June, President Aleksander Kwaśniewski and His Foundation Amicus Europae invited Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council Members to Warsaw.

The meeting was conducted by H.E. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chariman of APRC and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The members who took part in the meeting were H.E.. Shaukat Aziz, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, H.E. Alfred Gusenbauer, former Chancellor of Austria, H.E. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Syed Hamid Albar, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, H.E. Weerasak Kowsurat, H.E. Sorajak Kasemsuvan and Mr. Juha Christensen.


The members of the APRC, on their first meeting organized in Europe discussed issues related to the future mission of the Council. H.E. President Aleksnader Kwasniewski brought to the discussion an European accent, touching on the difficult topic of Ukrainian crisis.


The members of the APRC paid a courtesy call on Mr. Jerzy Jan Wenderlich, Acting Marshal of the Sejm. in Warsaw, Poland and in Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
