The purpose of the Institute will include researching and conference organizing which relate to current condition of tolerance in Europe, but also creation of new social solutions, such as prevention of immigrants exclusion or stabilizing multinational communities.
The President Barroso accepted initiative to call into being the Institute, with full comprehension. Moreover he assured that he supports whole venture with “moral and political” background. He also emphasized that functioning of centre of this kind will contribute to cognition of social changes in Europe, either the centre will prepare European institutions for handling with new challenges.
In the meeting with the President Barroso also participated vice-president of the ECTR Moshe Kantor and Ireneusz Bil, director of the “Amicus Europae” foundation.
